Fresh African Yam tuber is used in cooking dishes such as yam porridge, asara, yam pepper soup. Yam can also be used as a thickener in native soups such as nsala soup.
We know there is no way to verify the quality of yam without cutting it so each yam tuber is sliced into 2 to 3 pieces to verify quality prior to shipping. This also preserves the yam and prevents it from rotting while in transit. To use, kindly slice off the dried ends of the yam.
